All, any, & every type! We have experience with upscale events for 600, intimate dinner parties for 20, or a business lunch for 60. Our talented staff can help you with any and all needs.
What makes you a "green" company?
Two Caterers strives to rethink processes and products in order to streamline and reduce negative effects on the environment. We are proud to have led the Columbus green effort in the catering industry with our recycling programs and being one of the the first to use compostable products and compost kitchen waste. Almost three-quarters of our business waste is recycled or composted.
I have a last minute order, can you help me?
While we prefer all orders to be placed at least 48 hours in advance in order to make sure ingredients, staffing, and delivery are available, we will do our best to accommodate you. We understand every last minute order and situation is different. Please call us ASAP and give us as many details as possible. We will check the schedule and work with the kitchen staff to see how we can help you.
What is the service fee?
The Service Fee is an industry standard that addresses the fluctuating costs of our products - the cost of fuel, environmental factors, and the market in general all play a part. Instead of frequently adjusting our menu prices to reflect these changes, we apply a service charge.
Do you have holiday availability?
We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
We can cater your event on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and New Years Eve, but our minimums and staffing policies are different for those dates. Please inquire for more information.
Food & Menu FAQ
I have special dietary needs, can I order a custom menu?
We are happy to work with you to accommodate any special dietary needs. Gluten-free, vegan, lactose-free - just let us know. Our chefs love a challenge!
Can I provide a family recipe to be used at my event?
Of course! We know sometimes you want to serve a very personal menu that will include a family recipe, especially for weddings. We are happy to do our best to make that happen.
Do you have a liquor license? Can we have alcohol at our event?
Yes & yes! Two Caterers has D-5 & D-6 licenses from the State of Ohio. The D-5 is for "spirituous liquor for on premises consumption only, beer/wine/mixed beverages for on premises, or off premises in original, sealed containers, until 2:30am". The D-6 is the permit for Sunday service. Sometimes special circumstances require special permits. Speak with your event planner if you have any questions.
What is your adverse weather policy?
It is our policy to close down our office, kitchen and catering service only during a Level Three snow emergency deemed by local authorities.
Off Premise Events: 100% of the event minimum price will be owed if the event is canceled, regardless of weather or otherwise, less than seven calendar days from the event date.
Drop off Policy: Two Caterers will call clients the day before an event to ensure the event is still scheduled. If the client does not cancel at that time, the client is responsible for all charges except for sodas and disposables.
If your event is canceled and food has already been made, it is up to you to have our team deliver or donate it.
Delivery Policy FAQ
Do you have a minimum order for drop-off deliveries?
Yes, we require the following food-only minimums for drop-off orders:
Monday - Friday: $250
Saturday - Sunday: $1,000
Weekend pick-up order minimum: $500 (based on availability)
Do you have a minimum order for staffed special events?
Yes, we require the following food-only minimums for staffed events:
Monday - Friday: $500
Saturday - Sunday: January - March: $500 // April - December: $1,000
Do you charge a delivery fee?
Delivery fee is based on zip code. For more information please ask your catering specialist. Additional charges may apply for certain locations or times that are not during regular business hours.
What are your delivery times for casual catering?
Casual catering orders are available for delivery or pick-up. Delivery times are between 7am and 6pm. Pickup times vary based on availability.
