Recipe : Sweet & Savory Vinaigrette

With the season of gooey dips, appetizers, burgers, and beer upon us, it's nice to have a crisp and refreshing salad as your "2nd string" backup. 

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups of white vinegar
1/4 cup of dijon mustard
5 cloves of garlic (minced)
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 tablespoon of red pepper flakes
2 1/4 cups of vegetable oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Enjoy! 

Directions

DRESSING: In a large bowl, combine vinegar, mustard, garlic, & sugar. While mixing, slowly add in vegetable oil until emulsified. Add red pepper flakes and whisk until combine. Salt & pepper to taste. 

Add this yummy salad dressing to our fresh kale salad. We love topping it with golden raisins, sliced almonds, & crumbled feta!
